How it works
An honest explanation of where the information you see comes from, what we store, and what we don't do.
The journey of a match
- 1
You open Valorant with the overlay running in the background.
- 2
The overlay reads the Riot Client's local session (the same app you already have open) to know who's in your match.
- 3
It shows you each teammate's reputation right on top of the game, no alt-tabbing needed.
- 4
When it ends, you can rate your teammates — that rating gets moderated before it's shown to anyone else.
Where the information comes from
The overlay runs on your own PC and queries the Riot Client's local session — the same application you already use to play — to know which players are in your match. We never ask for your Riot username or password, or a separate login: your account's identity is resolved automatically against the session you already have open.
What we store
- Your name#tag and your puuid (the internal ID Riot uses for your account).
- The Competitive and Unrated matches you played with the overlay active: mode, map, and the agent you played.
- The ratings you and your teammates leave for each other: stars, tags, and an optional comment.
What we don't do
- We don't read or modify any game files.
- We don't show anything that gives a competitive advantage (no ESP, no aimbot) — the overlay is social/reputation information only.
- We don't access your Riot account or ask for your password — everything is resolved with a token generated on your own install.
Free-text comments go through an automatic filter before they're shown to anyone else — more details in the FAQ.
